iCBT, which stands for Internet-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), is an effective form of therapy commonly used for various mental health concerns. CBT focuses on the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, with the "C" representing cognitive (our thoughts) and the "B" representing behavioral (our actions). By understanding how negative thoughts can impact our actions and perceptions, we can change our emotional, behavioral, and physical responses to different situations.

TELUS Health CBT offers a personalized therapist-guided program through an app, providing digital tools and exercises to support CBT. This digital therapy allows for easy access anytime, anywhere via mobile devices, eliminating the need for in-person appointments and saving time on travel. It seamlessly integrates therapy into your daily life.

Each program is supported by a trained CBT therapist who will review your progress and activities. The therapist will guide your treatment plan based on your needs, suggesting new activities or revisiting modules as necessary. They are also available via messaging to offer feedback and support.

The program includes interactive exercises, videos, and assignments within modules to help you learn and practice new skills. Your therapist will review these activities and provide direction and support.

The process begins with a clinically validated screening that assesses for various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, mania, and sleep issues. The therapist will use these screening results to create a personalized program for you.

Each program follows an established CBT framework, consisting of modules that assess your current state, provide education and lessons, build skills, reinforce learning, and reassess your progress. Your therapist will guide you through each step by reviewing your exercises and modules, offering feedback along the way. Once you are ready, they will make the next module available in your program.
